It's time to admit.... Boxing viewer ratings are only going to get worse.

    It's simple.......

It's not just boxing, but shows all across the board, because People don't watch tv anymore. Teens/young adults especially.

No one is going to give their full attention to boxing when you can literally watch p.0.r.n whenever you want, thousands of android apps to keep you entertained, youtube, facebook, snapchat etc. Sooooooooo much forms of entertainment available than just a mere 20 years ago.

If you wanted entertainment, you would have to drive to blockbuster and order some movies.... Not anymore.

People on average have shorter attention spans than they did 20-30 years ago.

When I was growing up in the late 90's, entertainment was watching the scrambled ****e channel hoping to get a glimpse of some t1ts and ass and if you were REALLY lucky, you got to see some dude railing the living sh.it out of some broad. That was all that was available at the time.

The days of tv is going the way of the dodo and boxing unfortunately is going with it.

There are still a substantial amount of men with healthy testosterone levels who enjoy viewing combat sports.

What he’s saying is that digital mobile platforms have more viewing power than the traditional TV set, Regardless that everything’s digital.

New generation wants more practical viewing and its harder to get a hold of these types of fans when there are too many other things that distract.

This is why DAZN will be the biggest sports platform in the years to go. Acquiring Joshua and Canelo as staples for their brand will attract more people as DAZN’s infrastructure and marketing continues to impact more markets.

Regular TV ratings won’t grow as much and just stay the same, perhaps just decline

That’s fair, and I like DAZN shaking up the industry. I can see ESPN destroying DAZN if they can convince the ABC network to show teaser fights for their online subscriptions and PPVs. If the money is there, parent company Disney will always be okay with making more revenue.

Combat Sports fans don’t relate to anything “Disney.” That’s Gay to begin with. ESPN doing poor considering they cover the staple of sports.

Brother that made me howl. Watching ****e scrambled hoping to get a glimpse of some **** and ass. Yup that's what we did, not the mention the guy from messed up family who had 5th Copied VHS tapes of fuzzy screened soft core ****.

The age of the celebrity is over as a result. As we now know poliltically most of Hollywood and Sport is filled with out of touch arrogant fools.

Bottom line no free TV = no familiarity = no exposure no awareness and then the gendre dies.

If Disney/ABC/ESPN took over and bought out DAZN, would combat sport fans would stop watching combat sports just because of Disney? That’s silly. There’s not much difference in quality between DAZN and ESPN. They’re both amateur babies compared to HBO quality.
