BJs ducked Andrade too. THese theories make it even easier for Canelo
Saunders just gassed vs Eubank. There was nothing more to it

I agree that a Focused Saunders would definitely be a tough style match up for Canelo .
But Lemieux is a bad gauge as to how Canelo would fare against him IMO .
Canelo is not a come forward brawler who gets frustrated if he can't hit his opponent like Lemieux .
How the fight would play out ? I don't know .
      Would I wanna watch ? Definitely .
Would Goldenboy make the fight ? I doubt it .

I've changed my mind a little since seeing how Canelo v Jacobs turned out, because I think a Saunders fight could go much the same way... i.e. little action, cautious, and a Canelo decision. However, I still believe Saunders excels in certain areas, as compared to Jacobs, who I consider a good-but-not-elite fighter (he's what we here in England would call a 'Jack of all trades, master of none'), and this would give Saunders more of a competitive chance.

Saunders has a great chin, fantastic heart, and also very sneaky. A motivated, fit Saunders could nick rounds, and even lay it on Canelo a little bit. I don't see any KOs occurring, or knockdowns. So, then the question becomes whether Saunders can get the decision... I don't think it's feasible. CANELO, CLOSE DECISION

I'm not saying Lemieux is like Canelo lol. I'm just using the Lemieux fight to show where Saunders was at his best, very sharp and focused. Something which I also expect him to be vs Canelo

I mean he would lose. You can't run and beat Canelo you have to fight him.

That's just ****** talk. If Saunders gives him a boxing lesson he should win. Doesn't matter if he uses his excellent footwork or not. Running almost doesn't exist in boxing. It's not Running when you are the one making your opponent miss and you are the one landing more punches. Then it becomes 'outboxing' and frustrating your opponent. Do you think Saunders can do that (not paying attention to how 'biased' judges may score the fight). Would he be able to convince us fans that he beat Canelo if they do fight?

Well then,it's a good thing that canelo is a champ at 168,so the saunders fight should be doable.
