Any plans for PBF to fight a top P4P opponent? DLH and Mosley are both yesterdays news. Wins over Mayorga and Vargas - good wins for sure but neither are elite level. Anyone forgetting what happened to Tito after his great win over Mayorga? Mayorga's purpose is to make the opponent look good. Vargas is not the same without 'roids and can't get out of the way of a left hook.

No doubt PBF fights with Mosley and DLH will be big money winners, and the bottom line is that this is a business. But don't try and make it out to be a meeting of fighters in their primes like Hagler - Hearns or comparable to the accomplishments of e.g. Pacman who fights elite level fighters most of the time.

Agreed. I like it. Its a good move for boxing. I dont recall a year like this. We are seeing named oppenents week after week. Heck even ESPN2 is showing good up and coming fighters like Paul Williams and Jason Litzau. A fight with Mosley and PBF would be a good rap up to a great year.

Who do u guys want to see Floyd fight? His competition that is in their prime, don't want to fight (Hatton and Cotto), so who should he fight Margarito? Do yall really think that Margarito is more of challenge or a bigger threat to him than Mosley or Delahoya? I know deep down inside yall dont believe that, afterall yall are boxing fans.

you know if this was hatton, cotto or someone else you would be praising them but your personal dislike for the best fighter in the world is laughable

              anyone cant beat

              Genaro Hernandez
              Angel Manfredy
              Diego Corrales
              Carlos Hernandez
              Jesus Chavez
              Jose Luis Castillo twice
              Demarcus Corley
              Arturo Gatti
              Sharmba Mitchell
              Zab Judah

win four world titles in 4 weight divisions. Complete outclass people in fights that are suppose to be close.

Then if you add Mosley and De La Hoya to that list it is much more impressive. Im no Mayweather fan either but the guy is good and his record and opposition is impressive.

Shane and DLH are older now but still a cut above Margarito and Cotto. Mayweather will be doing the right thing if he fights them. There will be time after that for Cotto, Hatton, Margarito etc., but the next twelve months is the time for him to take on the best fighters from the outgoing generation.

Not anyone would have looked invincible against Zab Judah. Mosley looked great destroying what was left of Vargas, as did Oscar to Mayorga. IMHO Mosley has the speed & strength to contend with Floyd, Wright has the all around boxing skill(& the best chance against floyd), & the only person who i consider to have nearly equal ring intelligence is De La Hoya, all of which are now with Golden Boy, so if mayweather joins the team he could have the opportunity to end his career in historical fashion, or at least say that his lose came to one of the greatest fighters of all time. Sorry but in my eyes, Margarito isn't even worth mention & would be easy work for PBF.

another guy fought all the yesteryear heros and was hailed as the best thing since slice bread ...but since then hes lost a few times and according to most people on most days is nothing more then looks and a good promotion...but then agian oscar is trying to fight mayweather ..so oscar HAS to be great now right? ...
