Wait if Castillo "outlanded" Mayweather by 50 punches, how is that average 10 punches more a round than Mayweather. Last time I checked the bout went 12 rounds.

50 / 12 = 4 punches. Yes 4. Not 10.

And those compubox numbers were the worst I've ever seen. Half of those "landed" punches by Castillo hit shoulder or glove or elbow.

a 50 ****ing punch difference....thats an average of 10 more punches a round! ...go out side pay a bum to punch you 10 times x 5 ... and see if that dosnt make a ****ing difference

Wow... you must be psychic. How did you know that I only like Mayweather because he is undefeated. In all seriousness, I like Floyd because he has great skill in the sport of boxing. He makes good fighters look average. You don't have to like him, but if you truly are a boxing fan you have to respect what he has done. For instance, I don't particularly like Miguel Cotto but I can't take anything away from him. He has fought decent competition and been successful. Also I thought we were talking about Floyd on this thread not the best defensive fighters or best boxers. If you would like to have a civilized discussion about these topics. I would be happy to engage.
You have a right to your opinion about the first Castillo fight, but perhaps I can enlighten you as to how professional boxing is scored. If Castillo outlands Mayweather by 20 punches in 2 rounds... those rounds are scored 10-9. You only get 1 point for winning a round no matter how decisively. Therefore Floyd could easily win 7 rounds without winning the punchstat battle. But you already knew that too. Hey just be fair and give credit where credit is due that is all I ask.

Just in case you were wondering... at his prime RJJ was a great fighter. He just stopped facing elite competition so his decline in skill was masked. I didn't stop liking him after he lost, I just realized the obvious... fighters get old, skills decline etc. This is not an attack on RJJ just a fact of life. Sorry.

Damn you should have stopped posting a long time ago, the only comparison too RJJ should be that they're both lightning fast(JJ in his prime was anyways) cause PBF can Box something that you're obviously not a fan off, PBF is the whole package, RJJ wasn't, once his physical edge came down just slightly, he didn't have the boxing fundamentals to still win, I think Floyd will. You've already said that you don't like Mayweather & what you post proves that you don't know much about him. Mayweather took a lot of hard shot from Chavez & still made him quit on him stool(fighting in a style that he doesn't usually use, to me at least that proved his chin). I don't know where your opinion comes from, but it's not based on facts.
