Would the extra pounds have an effect on his already brittle hands? Not that its a uncommon thing in boxing.

shouldn't......he should just take it easy and cruise to an easy decision........if he hits too hard, he'll injure his hands again.........remember calzaghe doesn't do any or barely any sparring at all.........what a boxer!

Good Question. Calzaghe hardly has any muscle defintion or anything and he completely destroyed Lacy, but I think Lacy made bad judgement to take that fight so soon.

muscle definition matters little compared to natural strength and speed at middleweight and above IMO. Sure you don't want excess fat but you don't want to be as stiff as Lacy was.

he doesnt skip , he only spars on rare ocations and even then its with welterwieghts so he can use speed more than power.
he does alot of running and uphill cycling, he also does a lot of pad work with hes dad
              why is he so good?
              natural talent

agreed iron mike, the extra weight would be wasted on someone who doesn't throw power shots.

JC has to do it, this would get hopkins right out of retirement we must have JC vs B-hop the former long reigning middleweight champ vs the long reigning supermiddleweight champ that never fought eachother
