This is why you fight the fights. A case can be made that Fury wins this easily. Then again, if Cunningham could drop Fury surely Whyte can. It's an interesting fight (as most Top Ten HW fights are).

That's amazing! 90K and only $8 million? The Canelo vs. GGG fight had 17K and generated $27 million! Floyd vs. McGregor generated $55 million off of 13K! Floyd vs. Canelo did $20 million off of 16K! I would assume that his UK PPVs are proportional to his live gates? What are the prices of his UK PPVs? I know you're not my secretary, but I have a hard time finding these numbers! 11 million is what joshua-klitschko did and 10 million for joshua-parker. canelo-jacobs just did 8.7 and canelo is boxings biggest star and fights in its biggest market so not so bad for small market joshua. wilder-fury only did 3.5 and wilder wants 50-50 hmm mind bobbling.

It doesn't matter who Whyte beats if he refuses to fight a final eliminator. Winning a final eliminator is typically how you become the mandatory.

Breazeale undeservedly fought a one way final eliminator that the WBC then publicly confirmed it was a mistake and that it was only an eliminator but then changed their mind and later changed it to a final. Eliminator 😂

Plus the “final eliminato’ fight with Breazeale should be null and void as Molina was officially banned from officially taking part in any sport Worldwide for failing a drug test after the Joshua fight

The Breazeale fight was ALWAYS listed as a final eliminator on the WBC website and the WBC never issued anything calling it a mistake. A UK troll journalist claims someone from the WBC told him it was a mistake, but we don't know who that person was or if they even exist.

The WBC never publicly said it was a mistake. They were always consistent that it was a final eliminator. Only Benson has said it was a mistake and we have no idea who supposedly said that to him. Hundreds of people work for the WBC. Benson won't say who told him and nobody important at the WBC has any idea what Benson is talking about.

It was listed as a final eliminator on the official WBC schedule and never corrected or changed. All public statements from the WBC were that it was a final eliminator. You can't find anything from the WBC saying otherwise. I'll take the WBC's word over Benson's.

That is a private email, so no, I'm not lying when I say that the WBC never called it a mistake publicly.

We don't know who that email was from or if they had inaccurate info. We also don't know how Benson phrased his question.

We do know nothing was ever changed on the WBC site or schedule. It was always listed as a final eliminator.

Any confusion may have stemmed from the fact that for Molina, it wasn't simply an eliminator, due to him being outside of the top 10.

None of which supports the false premise that Whyte has been screwed in some way. Molina only got the fight because Whyte turned it down. Whyte has turned down multiple WBC *and* IBF final eliminators since then. The dude just doesn't want to earn his shot. Which is fine. But don't turn down final eliminators and then complain when you're not named mandatory.

The WBC clearly confirmed it was not a final eliminator plus the WBC did change the status on its website
