And did it on balance. He could also close the distance faster and roll before the other guy even realizes the lead is in his face.

The sequence where he finished Pazienza was a true display of speed, accuracy and power. Khan couldnt get power in his. Even Oscar De la hoya who had underrated speed and people forget about it could demonstrate speed like khan when he wanted fo.
    Roy isnt as fast clearly.

Pacman looks faster than he is when he shadow boxes because he uses alot of very close range small/tiny hip motion uppercuts, so you get a load of tiny fast hand motions. But he is closer to Khan than Roy. (see bag work and in fight footage for his real punches and real speed)

In fairness to the other contenders Khan uses all straight punches there are no left hooks etc in his punches, so they are faster than hooks but hes still showing faster combos than any1 Ive ever seen and pacman does the same all straight punch combos too, often times.

No one has shown me any footage to the contrary (thanks very much for your answer NearHypnos!)

fast as Fawk, yes. but look at where he puts his hands after the punches....his waist. That's why no look hooks like Danny's and the Canelo's overhand was on point. His head stays in the middle and his hands always come back to his belt line.

Speed isn’t just in the hands. Not true speed. Roy was balanced with his shots and they were power shots. His feet, reactions, brain, all visually and significantly faster than Khan’s arm punches which only one landed in the first clip lol. Roy stopped someone and chased them down the ring at the same time. I’d rate a prime Tyson as a HW to be faster than Khan as well.

Khan is the equivalent of being able to throw a 96mph fastball....into the stands. Roy is like throwing a controlled 100mph in the strike zone with pitch variety.

Khan is VERY fast with his hands, but at great cost to his entire game.

Clearly his shoulders are strongly turning via his hips you cant turn the shoulders that fast or forcefully without the hips, and if you are using body rotation via the hips and kinetic linking (you cant be that fast wo kinetic linking) you are using body weight, because you naturally transfer at least some weight anyway, and hes turning the whole body into the punches, why is that just hand speed?

What exactly is hand speed it sounds like one of those boxing terms that people use and dont even know what it means themselves which is typical of boxing.

And got the down and stoppage. :/

Anyone who’s seen most of RJJ’s career would never call someone like Khan the fast ever. Khan has fast hands, but anyone like Gary Russell Jr could throw a flurry like that if they didnt care about being crushed in return.

Khan’s curse is that his hands are faster than he can think and move with his feet/reflexes. He has pure handspeed. It’s why he gets knocked out. Because he’s not fast as he thinks he is. Extremely overrated speed.

Some clips of Roy Jones Jnr, speed was just part of his arsenal but was there, let's call it 'effective speed' which Khan't does not have.

True RJJ is like a middleweight Tyson, they both have the speed and power combined which made them so damn spectacular and entertaining, many people have just speed or just power or some combination of both, Tyson and RJJ had both is spades which is what makes the probably the 2 most entertaining boxers of all time imo , true fan favorites.

But thats not what this question is about im merely trying to find the fastest of all time

How are you going to judge who was the fastest of all time? That RJJ vid shows his speed which is such that his opponents constantly show no sign of being able to react before being hit eg at 1:50, 3:06, 3:25 and so on. It's easy to miss how fast he is as usually speed was just part of his effectiveness as the commentary shows.

I'm a bit confused with this thread.

You claim con is the fastest and want people to search for videos to prove you wrong.

Let's say no one finds a video and con is the fastest, then what?

Do you grow a boner and give con the fastest man award?

To what end is this thread really? Sure he's the "fastest", so what's the point? What about him being the "fastest" are you trying to get at?

If your end game is to just give him "fastest" title, then kudos to u

if you're "trying to find the fastest of all time", what will you do with that information? is it one of those things that you just "have it"?
