Old meets new. This is by far not the best Pacquiao there is but there is something little in that tank. Only risk at this age is fighters could be doing fine in the camp only to age overnight on fight night. On the other hand no one knows how good this generation of fighters is. Everyone knows this to be true no matter what they claim. No doubt there'll be some Pac fans along soon crying about his age and him having the right to fight who he wants. Fair enough, but lets not pretend this fight is something it isn't. Pacquiao didn't pick the best, he picked who looked the weakest of the title holders.

I said he'd pick Thurman all along, because if you look through his resume he always picks fighters coming off losses and bad performances recently. That's what Pac does.
