  • Comments Thread For: Korobov's Co-Manager: Difficult To Beat Incompetent Officials

Mike Borao and Jameel McCline couldn't believe what they were told when an official from the ******ia Boxing & Wrestling Commission came to Matt Korobov's locker room Saturday night. Korobov's co-managers made a bee line for ringside once they learned that the result of Korobov's bout with Immanuwel Aleem had been changed from a majority-decision victory for Korobov to a majority draw. The best explanation anyone from ******ia's commission could give them was that they made a mathematical mistake while adding up the scores following a 10-round middleweight match Korobov seemingly won

Koro faded, Oscar faded, Fury lost 2 rounds big!, but in math you add each round separate hand it in total at the end. Koro won more rounds, Oscar beat Trin, Fury won at worst 8 rounds Scorers inept getting worse

Boxing just needs to do away with old fashioned judging!

Need to have younger people and have them watch it on a tv instead of up close and down near the ring apron!

Too many fighters who sacrifice so much of themselves are getting screwed left and right by people who’ve never likely been in a fight in their lives!

How do I become a boxing judge since it seems they can’t do their job right?

I didn't realize this happened. Terrible. Korobov won this fight. I thought he lost to Charlo but IMO he deserves a rematch of that fight.

It's no wonder the best fights don't get made in a timely manner, if you're the B side - and you often are fighting in the other guy's hometown - then you have to contend with the judges.

Seems to me Japan has the fairest judges

                This problem is Pathetic!

Korobov beat this guy easily 8 to 2. Then the wretched blind judges rob Korobov !

Saw this fight live and up close, saw 3 maybe 4 rounds at most you could give to Aleem. Crowd was definitely pulling for Aleem but Korobov was catching him with clean counters for most of the fight and had him visibly hurt a few times.

Corruption not incompetence in my opinion, at least usually in boxing. Who knows about this time.
