Dogboe will be lucky if his dad doesn’t get him killed.

Side note: even though I thought the father should have thrown in the towel earlier, I don't like Osuna potentially influencing the outcome of fights when he questions a corner's decision making and fight strategy. For all we know he may have caused the corner to double down and convince themselves that continuing on was the right call.

Yea more or less agree with this. That fight shoulda been stopped waaaay earlier. Dogboe was never in the fight & was taking a beating for no good reason.

He needs to get his dad outta the corner for some fresh looks AND maybe more importantly for his own safety cuz no one needs a mfer on their team who can't see you're in a losing battle & there ain't sh^t to be gained by taking more damage for nothing.

"Doubling down" on this sorta thing when your boxer is getting his ass beat & not even being competitive would just give me more confidence in the dad needing to be outta the corner.

Dogboe was brutalized. The royal storm got turned into a gentle breeze over 12 hard rounds of ass whooping.

I agree but unfortunately situations like that can unfold when you have an inexperienced corner and a father/son dynamic. But I'm not just referring to this fight, I don't like when Osuna does that period.

Saw this one live and then watched it on TV later...the beating was even worse than it looked on TV. Dogboe is a tough kid but not sure how he moves up...Santa Cruz, Russell & the rest will be waiting.

Needs a new trainer too...same strategy resulted in the same outcome. Imagine that.

I missed the first half the fight because I was watching the Hurd fight. But from what I did see he was getting lit up. His dumbazzz daddy/trainer was trying to get him killed. No need to let your fighter take those shots when fight isn't competitive and your fighter too much pride to go down. You have to save your fighter from themselves sometimes.
