+1 on that. Don't know too much about Mungia at the moment, but Hurd got hit a lot in the fight and can only do so many of those. It looked to me that Hurd got hurt to the body around the 4th round or so, which had him back peddling to the ropes and Williams got some of his best work off around then - it looked like weight issues for me, and not sure how good an idea it is to go out for another tough outing at 154 (as Williams would be, whoever wins).I agree. Jaime will be the next to be exposed! I like Hurd he's a very tough dude but he can't keep having these kinds of fights it's not good for his health. He don't need a rematch right now he needs a new trainer and a couple of get back fights before and he may need to move up in weight.
And for sure some work on the defence needed - pretty sure a good trainer could have him blocking at least some of those clean shots he was taking with gloves or avoid some with more movement.Comment

Do you watch boxing or just the ring card girls brother. You clearly have no boxing eye.
Keeping it 100, the sport may not need you broski. This is a gentleman’s sport, with a lot of technical movement and strategy. If you don’t know a tomato can from talent you may need to find a new thing to critique. Just saying brother.Comment

Well said! No rebuttal.I don’t mince words and call a spade a spade. Intelligent opinions and thoughts are shared so the recipients are enlightened and it opens in meaningful conversation where both sides benefit through mutually beneficial debate and conversation.
Of course boxers are open to criticism however there are stark differences between “criticisms” and ad hominem attacks. Calling a world class boxer a pedocab driver is neither the sharing of an intelligent opinion nor is it a “criticism.” Therefore the shill sharing garbage should be called out on it and snapped back into line. A child deserves a child like response and nothing less. I hold to my original thoughts on this matter

Man, Hurd is tough as nails. Idk how he survived eating all those big left hooks all night, especially those right uppercut left hook combos jrock was throwing all night. Unless he makes some serious changes I don't c him winning the rematch. I would love to c him fight mungia tho, considering they both have about zero defense and just come forward eating punches and throwing punches, it'd b an all out war. I was looking at Williams face throughout the fight and he just looked so determined, he was hungry and he made it happen. Big ups to him. Now jrock vs Charlo/Harrison winner and hopefully Hurd vs mungia... Make it happenComment

You know what, I totally agree with you, Hurd vs Munguia would be a great fight. Hurd would win that one for sure especially if he get's another trainer. Hurd just needs to stay away from J-Rock right now. Mad props to my dude Breadman, the brain behind J-Rock.Comment

Why do you say that? He almost got knocked out by a jab and knocked out by a 35 year old who took the fight on 3 days notice.
I hate to tell you, but mungias last two opponents beat everybody in pbcs stable including Errol Spence.Comment
