    Morales Weight

In my opinion, Morales trying to make 130 once agains is ridiculous. He looks to me like he is starved to death at the weigh-ins, just incredibly weak and drained. I don't think he is finished, I think at 135 he would be a very good opponent for Coralles, but he shouldn't still be trying to make 130.

i think after the pac fight he should retire, at his age that's like a 40 year old heavyweight, he already is a legend and HOFer so just get some retirement money and hit the beach LOL!

As far as I can recall, Erik has fought only once at 135. Against Zahir Raheem. It resulted in one of the four losses in his slate. Based on that solitary outing, it seems difficult to be sure that he'll do well at Lightweight against opposition qualitatively equal to or better than Raheem.

thats another reason why he faded down the strech in the 2nd Pac fight. Killing yourself to make weight will only make you weaker and he still put up a great fight.

I realise that a lot of fighters have trouble making weight, but Morales just looks like he is about to drop dead at weigh-ins.

He lost because of the body assault and stamina problems down the stretch. Killing yourself to make weight will drain a fighter of his energy and strength. How many times do I have to say this...He wasn't as hurt as you all seem to make him look. He was tired and gassed more than he was hurt.
