  • Comments Thread For: Jarrett Hurd-Julian Williams Weigh-In Results From Fairfax

Jarrett Hurd didn't have nearly as much difficulty cutting weight for his fight Saturday night as he did for his previous bout. The 6-feet-1 Hurd, the biggest champion in the 154-pound division, revealed Thursday night that he had to cut 36 pounds during fight week six months ago. Hurd still weighed in at 152 pounds, two below his division's limit, for a fourth-round knockout of England's Jason Welborn on December 2 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

That's absolutely ridiculous! This will catch up with him!

I don't even know how that's possible without cutting off an appendage

How long can Hurd stay at 154? Surely not long enough to unify?

Obviously, Hurd cuts alot of weight but that has to be a typo. I vividly remember Hurd posting an IG story last summer (after his surgery post Lara fight) where he was on a scale at 182lbs. No way did he waited until fight week in early December to cut the 30+lbs remaining pounds.

Think he meant to write that Hurd had to cut 36 pounds last fight camp? No way can you do that in one week.

So JRock made weight the second time around? Good. This is going to be a hell of a fight. From the Charlo's, Hurd, and JRock, it was JRock who was getting the most hype coming out. He was supposed to be THE guy at the division and some were saying a future big fight would be Spence vs JRock.

Well, those guys have passed JRock up but he has a chance to change things with a win here. Can't wait!

                I like Hurd.

True warrior on the ring who could use a little bit of head movement and better defense overall
