you're right that i haven't literally read the contract myself, but if someone high up at showtime that i've known for many years tells me there's no termination of convenience clause, it's a pretty safe bet.

You haven’t seen the terms or out clauses. There usually is a clause where either party can get out of the other end isn’t fulfilling their obligation.

You just exposed yourself for lack of business knowledge. It’s business 101. I’m sure showtime getting fired from Pacquiao’s next ppv isn’t sitting well at the showtime offices either.
