I really like Otha Jones and he was matched too tough for 1st fight.I know he will benefit in long run, but they were lucky he did not freeze a little, you never know how an 19yr old is gonna take to 1st pro fight. The gloves,handwraps are different and I doubt at his age he had much/any international experience and may have never fought before without headgear also.Anyways the kid really looks like the goods, and I love that defensive stance he used and his offensive skills are clear he is fast and can throw about every punch in book. That fight was also a six rder but Jones and his people thought it was over after 4 and he did not lose his concentration which shows some mental toughness already. I mean its easy to kinda lose it when you think fight is over, and they tell you, you gotta do 2 more esp when you never been more then 3rd AM fights.

Don't think that's a bad idea, but after going thru that fight he don't need to be pulled back much.Although you do have to consider HOW he wins at this point too, I mean look at T Lopez he is getting headlines because of the highlight KOs so pulling him back a little to get some WOW moments prob would be a good idea, but I don't think he will need that for long. He looked a little like Boots Ennis who I think is the best prospect in boxing right now.Too bad he is fighting with his co promoter because that kid is ALMOST a cant miss and he don't need to have time off.
