I think it depends on the demographics around you. I know for a fact that people of latino heritage are more into boxing in america than anyone else.

Notice it's you guys always talking about us. Not the other way around.
What makes you think you're always being talked about?

Dont let the propaganda fool you, read these comments carefully, thats how americans feel.....we are NOT UNITED states

Boxing is just not a mainstream sport here like it is in the UK.
Lmao why do you guys constantly say this despite Brit’s telling you otherwise at least once a week. Boxing is probably the 5th or 6th biggest sport here.

You do realize that in Europe they show WAY more sports on TV than it North America?

They show all the ones you mentioned, + double that. With cycling, handball, more fight sports oh and I forgot to mentioned soccer.

Why don't you just admit that its a cultural thing.

What is bigger? To what do you attribute the gulf in support between boxing in the US and the UK?

I don't even watch anything here except golf, soccer, tennis and boxing but the truth here is that boxing is clearly a secondary or tertiary sport here in the US.

Tbh that is the same in the UK generally, though I think there are a lot more boxing casuals in the US.

And for people saying they have other sports in the US...Boxing is the 10th most popular sport in the UK, where as it's the supposedly the 6th most popular sport in the US

In England rugby, cricket, horse racing, tennis and f1 more popular. We just have some fighters that are extremely popular. The difference is because we are passionate and really get behind our top stars especially the ones that do well. It’s really not a case of us having much else to do. Boxing barely gets any coverage in national papers. Maybe they’ll talk about it twice a week at best
