Nietes vacated that title just to fight those big names and not be mandated to fight again against his fellow filipino Palicte. Nietes resume is beyond that belt.
If Estrada is also calling out Gonzales who is no belt and not calling out Nietes who vacated his belt just to pursue him and has a great record then clearly Estrada is worried of Nietes.
Sounds like Nietes is high risk low reward at this point even with his name profile.
I remember him calling out Gonzales when he was undefeated before. Don’t know why that fight didn’t materialize.
