I understand why he says that Lipinets hits harder than Spence. Lipinets can really crack and he hit him with a wicked left hook early in the fight that definitely buckled his legs some. Spence put a beating on Garcia but he never hit him with one shot were it looked like Mikey was in any danger of going down.

Spence put heat on him late in the fight and put a beating but Mikey took it well. It was always going to be hard to stop Mikey if he came just to survive, and he did go into survival mode after the 6th or so round.

Btw, I've been saying this about Spence for a while. He's NOT a huge puncher. He gets his stoppages because of his consistent attack and he stays on top of you for the entire fight. He breaks you down round by round. I used to debate Thurman has heavier one shot power than Spence, and I do believe that. Does Lipinets hit harder? I don't know, but Garcia sure thinks so and Algieri said Pacquiao/Provodnikov hit harder than Spence as well.

Thurman does has more one punch power imo. Thing with Spence is that he doesn’t have to load up - every shot he throws are fast accurate and strong.

Agreed, Algieri had the best breakdown of his power. He said he's basically hitting you with 70-80% with every shot and is so consistent that he doesn't let up and eventually you just can't take his shots anymore.

Spence isnt a real hard puncher he just relentless, I imagine it like when your kids you know and your wrestle your lil brother or something and just punch him in the same spot over and over till he cries lmfao I think thats how spence beats you down he just keeps hitting you over and over and over eventually that **** just starts hurting.
