Andrade sells nothing, he believes he can beat Canelo and IMO he has the style, size and youth to do it. Andrade controls distance with his reach and legs far better then Danny and re-hydration is not a factor. Andrade is a very, very difficult style, he's cagey and hard to get close to and even if you slip inside he doesn't let you get off. Like Andrade or not, watch him closely and you'll notice he always takes away the inside game. Frankly Canelo might be up for it but I'm sure Oscar sees a big, more agile, fluid moving Vernon Forest, a style better off left alone.

Smith is better than his brother but he's there to be hit. He gets too much credit for fighting Groves at the right time. Smiths greatest accomplishment was against a guy that had been in far too many wars. He was exciting to watch but in the end he got hit too much and every fight turned into a war. His style simply reached expiration by the time Smith fought him.

A loss to Canelo will not end his career anymore than Canelo's loss to Mayweather! Canelo would put the same clause on Smith, that he put on Jacobs! I'm actually in favor of the clause! I wasn't the only one:

WBC introduces weight management program with eye on fighter health

      January 8, 2019:

"The promoter must require each boxer and their management to submit to the WBC the precise weight that he/she has at the time of signing a bout," Sulaiman said.

There has also been another weight check added to the schedule. Besides weight checks 30 and seven days before the bout there will also be one 14 days ahead of the fight. A fighter cannot be more than 10 percent over the division limit 30 days out, 5 percent 14 days before the fight and 3 percent seven days before the fight.

According to the new rules, the promoter must arrange with the local athletic commission and WBC supervisor to have a scale ready at the site of the bout in order to have both boxers weighed upon arrival on the day of the fight, and boxers must not have gained more than 10 percent of the weight from the official weigh-in the previous day.

Punishments, according to the new rules, can range from a fine of $5,000 to up to 30 percent of the purse as well as having the WBC withdraw its sanction of a bout.

I don't know if they've been enforcing this, but I think it's a good idea! This idea was spurned by Danny O'Connor nearly dying to make weight to fight Jose Ramirez!

I'm not arguing with you... but Spence is campaigning at 147, while Callum actually is a LHW...

          Canelo is overrated...

factsarenice... Well said. Canelo & De la Hoya ducked & dodged a prime GGG. Still (in my opinion) he lost to GGG when they initially met in 2017. I will give him credit for standing the 2nd fight. But no onecwants to talk about the one difference between the two fights. Canelo tested positive for PEDs. No one ever discusses this. He is a fraud. Lets see how long before he takes the Callum Smith fight. More importantly, does he get tested frequently leading up to that fight.

No way canelo does this without a rehydration clause. And if that’s going to be the norm for when he faces bigger guys now, he should go after Smith.

Sit your ass down, Clenelo would knock you out, specially with his 169 lbs rehydration clause.

IMVHO I think Callum is taylor made for Canelo, I think Andrade would be a much tougher fight than Smith.

Callum doesn't have the slickness that a Jacobs presents at all. He is huge so Canelo has a wide area to hit. body body body. I can't take anything for granted but I'm sure that if Smiths fights Canelo he would get stopped to the body, Smith doesn't have upper body movement at all and even thou his reach is insane Canelo's bob and weave would nullify Smith's jab.

Only real Smith's advantage is size, I'd take that fight in a heartbeat if I was Eddie Reynoso, just my two cents.
