What about the IBF and WBA? 3 out of 4 would put pressure on the WBO, who would just come off as ******s

The IBF and WBA were on board . . . as long as the WBO was on board too. The presidents of the WBC, WBA and IBF met several times to discuss the plan to recognize one world champion in each division.

The fear was that if the three orgs recognized one champion, the WBO would become more powerful. The WBO would essentially go from being 1 of 4 titles to being 1 of 2 titles. So the other three orgs would be giving up a bunch of power and influence, while handing the WBO a ton of power and influence. So the whole plan fell apart.

        Crawford in 2017
        Usyk in 2018
Canelo-Andrade, Joshua-Wilder would also make an undisputed champion, plus Lomachenko is well on his way

Well, they sure seem to be welcoming more unifications. So I like this direction, whatever comes of it.
