The funniest part is, Blacks and Mexicans were at each others throats a little over a decade ago, fighting over the rotted-out scraps of a sport that used to be relevant. Now that the folks who can actually add some decency and respect to an all but forgotten sport are back, the rodents are all huddled together.

Lomachenko said he wouldn't fight Mikey coming off of his shoulder injury. He preferred someone on the level of Pedraza instead.

Mikey said screw it and moved up two weight classes to fight a bigger and more dangerous opponent.

This was a ***** move by Garcia. He moved up to 147 even though his own fans wanted him to stay at 135 to fight Lomachenko. Then this fool saw Lomachenko call him out in his hometown and just a couple weeks later he gives up his belt and ducks again! When will people realize this dude wants no part of Loma.
... because Mikey didn't "blatantly duck Loma", actually...

... Mikey fought at 140, first... and then he went for some big PPV money fight vs Spence... He took a huge risk and he lost... (it's his business, tbh...)

He didn't take any more of a risk than anyone who makes a living from fighting does. The Spence fight was not a risky fight. He wins then he gets big money fights against Pac-man, Thurman, Garcia etc. If he loses the only thing that goes away is his perfect record.

People need to stop pretending it was a risky choice and recognize it as the highly rewarding business move it was.

People have fought much weaker opposition for lesser reasons. GGG is fighting some bum from Canada that no one knows. It makes sense not to want to jump in with another p4p fighter immediately after surgery.

Mikey chose to fight someone for more money in a situation where even if he loses no one will really **** on him for losing. He would much rather lose to Spence for more money than lose to Lomachenko.

If Top Rank really wanted the Mikey Garcia fight, where was their public offer $$$? It’s not like Top Rank doesn’t know how to throw numbers$$$ offers for headlines... as they did for wanting Danny Garcia vs Crawford.
