Because he is quicker than them, he make them miss then counters them. When someone is throwing and missing, they become hesitant and they started thinking about throwing. When they start thinking about throwing he is then throwing at them. Canelo has an underrated speed. And a great defence.

Donaire vs Rigo is a good example also since Rigo for most of the time was in the pocket.

          All the more impressive.

Canelo is smaller than all these top MWs but the combination of his skills, speed , power chin is what’s made him the best MW today despite being the smaller guy.

They need to figure it out. It reminds me of how these naturally bigger guys let Tyson body them. They let Canelo be way to comfortable. How he just stays flat footed in the pocket and has no reason to be fleet footed. Whether it's unorthodox/wrongheaded or not, Jacob's should have been beating on him and knocking him off his stride. Even if it meant getting floored. Like how Douglas beat down Tyson.

Not many A boxers right now. Some do have a potential. The two I can say are now A and A- boxers are: Juan Estrada and Canelo Alvarez.
You wouldn't consider Usyk an 'A' dude? Thought he was one of your guys.
