    What if Margarito

    Fought Mayorga or Vargas?

What are you thoughts on those two match ups?

Do you think that will shut people up about Margarito?

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the guy.

I'm just kinda sick of seeing him mentioned all the time and how he could take this person and that person.

mayorga will take some serious ****en punishment in a great fight. margarito's solid chin, workrate make him a better fighter. The thing that sets margarito apart though is his stamina and that he wil continue to fight at the same pace forever, while mayorga's training habits are sketchy and will cause him trouble down the stretch, though hes the bigger man.

Margarito called out mayroga like crazy when he was at welter. watch the six heads lewis fight and a couple of others around that time, margarito wore a shirt that said wanted and had a picture of mayorga. don king didnt want to put mayorga in there with margarito because at that point he was more highly considered and could have been a money maker that toney could have derailed.

it was after that, but maybe.

he's just always been too high risk for his reward.

basically he's ****en smoking prospects and second tier fighters in a way that doesn't attract top tier fighters, who can all claim he hasn't beat any other top tier fighter. it's a viscous cycle for him.

if he doesn't get the floyd fight i wish he would get to fight zab or collazo, those fights would tell us where he really stands.

When Mayorga was at 147 it would of been a great fight that could go either way.

Mayorga has been ruined as of Oct. 2, 2004.

Vargas would be beat at this stage as well.

Vargas has been damaged since December 2, 2000.

i think he'd beat both at this point in time... with a fight with Mayorga at least being abit more competitive

Why does everyone think Mayorga is good again? He is terribly overrated and would get killed in most fights.

Vargas would be a good fight... If not on Pay Per View! lol I stress this again.

I have always thought a prime Mayorga would kill Margarito but he looked so ****ty in his last fight that I think he might be finished now. I would love to see it though
