Does Buffer take away the drama with "Damas y caballeros" when announcing the winner?

When both fighters are Latinos, the drama is still there before the fighter's name is announced as the winner. But when only one is Latino, why can't Buffer just stick with the fighter's name? Even if Jacobs was the winner, there's no way he would've catered to the Latino crowd "Damas y caballeros...Daniel Jacobs!!".

Can't deny Buffer has huge value in boxing still, but he seems like he's phoning it in & just sorta washed as f#ck these days. He's on fumes basically. Buffer at this stage of his career is like Butterbean about 50 fights into his 4 round pro fighting career when the novelty was old.

Buffer operates in automatic mode at this point, he doesn't even think on what he's saying

Jimmy Lennon Jr is a far better ring announcer in my opinion
