That’s just apart of fighting cashcows. To get one of these big money fighters, you’re gonna give up something. Floyd would dictate gloves and ring size. Against Canelo he dictated weight. And to some extent, he did the same thing with JMM. Floyd had glove size and brand dictated to him by DLH. DLH made his MW debut against Felix Sturm at the 160. Then he turned around and made Hopkins come down to a 158 catchweight. Manny played the catchweight game multiple times in his career. Cotto played the catchweight game after he won the MW title from that shell of Sergio Martinez. It is what it is.
