That wasn't the point though. Of course end of the day the fighter has to sign off on a certain fight, but SHO like DAZN now, had a say in who their superstar fighter would fight next. SHO wanted the Canelo fight right after the Guerrero fight because that PPV didn't do great numbers. I mean in today's time it would be a GREAT number, but at that time they were needing a million buys to break even.
Canelo wants Andrade next. DAZN & Hearn wants GGG next

"Purse Information
Both Canelo and Jacobs are set to make a pretty penny for Saturday's fight. Canelo signed a historic 11-fight $365 million deal with DAZN. As part of that deal, he will make an estimated $35 million for his work on Saturday. Jacobs signed a smaller, but still lucrative deal with DAZN that will pay him $10 million for the unification bout, although the commission's official info says he'll make $2.5 million."Comment

Do you really think people want Nelo/golovkin 3? Cuz I'm hearing a lot a negative reviews of people saying they don't want to see that fight again. dazn seems to think people do. Maybe you heard more than me?Comment

Your a momo you don’t hear anybody claiming to want a 3rd fight just like you didn’t hear anybody claiming that GGG won the first fight.Your obviously a Ginger groupie.Comment

So I think you are getting confused with what hardcore fans want compared to what fight attracts to the casuals. No other fight minus Joshua/Wilder generates as much buzz than Canelo/GGG III. DAZN isn't focusing on the hardcore boxing fans here, they need the casuals as well. Let me give you another example, if Mayweather/Pacquiao rematch was made, you would get a bunch of people on this board killing the fight saying they have no interest in watching it. But I bet you the rematch generates more buys than ANY other fight in boxing. Hardcores are the minority here.Comment
