I couldn't believe first 6 rounds. Jacob didn't do anything. He didn't even try anything new until he turned southpaw. Khan caused Canelo more problems.

From what I heard Jacob's corner were telling him he was doing well and was ahead. He should sack them

I had Canelo up 116-114 so no complaints from me. Jacobs started too slow and I think Canelo wins a rematch wider.

Jacobs got outclassed and never took the fight to Canelo. He came in with a big size and weight advantage and couldn't put it to good use.

Rather see Canelo unify with Andrade or go for the trilogy. Jacobs running away from Canelo and throwing punches off balance is not worth seeing again. Just my opinion so I hope all the racists from Deontaes boxing nation don't take offense.

I think 2 things happened in the fight, firstly Jacobs spent the first half of the fight trying to figure out how to get past Canelo's defence, then the second half trying to get past it and failing.

Secondly, Canelo also struggled getting past Jacobs length and footwork to get to Jacobs also. So it ended up as a fight where both of their defensive skills got deserved praise, but of the two, Canelo's defence was more successful, and he got to Jacobs marginally more than Jacobs got to him.

The difficulty in scoring the fight was that the pattern of Canelo having marginally more success was consistent throughout the fight, so a Byrd like score of 10-2 would actually have been justified even though Canelo's edge over Jacobs was marginal (as each round scored separately). 115-113 feels fairer, but it required giving Jacobs a couple if tounds he didn't earn.

Agreed, the score was more than generous towards Jacobs.

A little harsh da guy came to fight he just had da wrong game plan and started to late. But he did prove dat Canelo only knock out weaker opponents n haven't knock out no one good or knock them down. And it was a boring fight on both fighters he just won a boring fight dats all

Not gonna lie, I wanted to hear how he had Jacobs winning and i wanted to hear how he'd tie the loss to Floyd in, usually along the lines of "Canelo dominated his opponent, that shows how Jesus-esque Floyd is cuz he beat Canelo...". I was kinda let down as there were neither
