I brought up Ruiz in a post back in March. Seemed the feedback was mostly positive. Had no Idea at the time Andy would be Fighting AJ, no one did in less you have a crystal ball. Felt Andy got a raw deal in general not promoted much with Top rank, seemed like Bob gave up on him or couldn't be bothered. Thought he was forgotten until I read he hooked up with AL & PBC. I'm very happy for Andy. Yes its hard to pick him over AJ. He may box better then AJ but can he really win? He fought Parker in NZ and lost a razor thin MD. I thought he won that fight and controlled the fight, never got caught with any big punches. seems to me handicappers are taking the under as the bet to put there money on. Why? Not sure if the fix is in but has Ruiz ever been down in his career? Is AJ know for early KO's. Guess they believe AJ's that powerful. I'm definitely rooting for Andy and will take the over on this one. AJ may out work him and over power him at times but I see a slick motivated Ruiz making a fight of it. True life Rocky narrative in play with a guy that Can fight. War Ruiz!!!!!!!

Ruiz has got hand speed that doesn’t match his body type. He has quick and good combinations. I’m afraid it could be a length thing if Aj keeps him on the outside, but if Ruiz can actually smother AJ and use the inside fighting to his advantage.... it could be very interesting
