What's the use if he is going to have all these hydration clauses? The guy is a total fraud. Firstly it was the judges now he drains people before fighting them?
Your a fcking hating ass hypocrite fanboi! Jacobs has fought several fights with the rehydration limit because of the IBF. The rule was only removed in unifications by the Ibf because of Jacobs having an unfair advantage over ggg(even though I don't think it mattered),so find something new to cry about you hating ass clown. Jacobs didn't even obey the limit anyways,& regardless had 13 hrs to rehydrate even more than the 3.5 lbs.

He didn't need to be careful and come in 3.5 lbs over, he could have been anything he wanted. Why limit someone? Why the clause in the first place? The guy is a pure fraud. Is it not true he has rehydration clauses?
Don't they give him advantages?
Is it not true he has recieved many favours from judges and has had too many controversial fights? One fight you can understand but when that becomes a pattern there is cause for concern.
Is it not true he has fought many small guys from 147 and even 140 lbs?
Doesn't his list of so called conquests include small boys like Josesito Lopez, Amir Khan, Hatton, Baldomir, Mosley, Cotto and he lost to Mayweather and Cotto (though the corrupt judges gave him the fight? and never mind drug use. Truth is we know where to rank Canelo, that is below Cotto but above Mosley.
These days I see it's increasingly becoming criminal to tell the truth.
Spent all that time at 155 because he wasn't big enough to fight middleweight, now the fantastic elastic man can fight you anywhere (with a rehydration clause).. 😂

All those supposed talking points are ****** imbecility they have all been proven complete bs & most can be dispelled simply by reviewing boxrec ffs. Its criminal for you casuals to spout nonsense that anyone around here knows to be disproven such as the myth that 5'8" canelo fights lil guys when most his opponents are taller than him & LEAst his size sometimes bigger or much bigger like ggg/jacobs & the few wws hes faced were stars who brought big bucks. He also didn't drag them up to 160 like fraud ggg.
Canelo has not gotten nearly as many wide scorecards as 90% of pbc/toprank/matchroom fighters who constantly win wide decisions. Instead when Canelo COMPLETELY controls the entire fight with most the clean power punches/body shots etc.
You lil gggroupies scorned start creating false narratives such as favorable judging in fights where he wins close split decisions like lara/ggg 2 even though he dominated both.
the worlds smallest violin is playing for you
you haters get together & find something new/credible to cry about
Oscar gave a hint with his ". . . and strategically get him the right fights" comment.
Perhaps in Kovalev they see a combination of decline, his exposure by Ward, and a style that canelo feels he can cope with?
Krusher would be at least 37 by the time Canelo got to him, so sufficiently slowed that Canelo would have a speed advantage.
He's also shown some weakness to the body, and can imagine that being Canelo's target in any fight, and any weight restrictions the Canelo side could impose would increase that vulnerability.
At 37 Krusher would still have the piston jab, which, unlike Jacobs' jab, carries power, and if delivered to the area around the top of the rib cage, could be used to keep Canelo at range, but Krusher would be losing the foot speed to avoid anything coming at him around the jab. Question for me is that Canelo himself doesn't have the foot speed to move in on opponents that quickly himself, eg he couldn't do it with Jacobs, so he would need to see Krusher's foot speed slow down so that he could slip the jab and connect to the body.
A 32 year old Krusher would be a different fight than a 37 year old one - Canelo might be able to handle a 37 year old one.
