He actually nailed why he isn’t fighting the top. He nailed it on the money.....networks, and hence promotions that have deals with the networks. What’s happened to boxing is it’s fighters are A LOT more business savvy about their careers and maximising profit than fighters even 20 years ago. Wilder, Joshua, fury....I’m willing to bet all of them will retire with more than 100m in the bank and they will have ill probably make considerably more than that and create the generational wealth they all talk about. Great time to be a world class boxer, not entirely a great time to be a boxing fan.
