I was at that fight live in the arena and even Mexicans where shocked when they heard the score cards. Mayweather clearly was the better man but canelo put up a good effort.

Considering the event and opponent, that was one of the best performances by Mayweather we have seen in the last 15 or so years. He was superb that night. Canelo did some really good things, but that was a true case of a professor schooling his pupil. Floyd didn't move all that much in this fight and mainly kept it in punching distance but he was quicker to the punch, more accurate and countering beautifully. I haven't watched this fight in a while, may catch it later today.

Yea the score cards were ridiculous in that fight. Cotto actually won some rounds and put up a tougher fight than Canelo did and that 1 judge had it a draw for Canelo. I remember Floyd's WTF face when they announced it lol.

Canelo won 3-4 rounds. It wasn't as one sided as the Floyd fans will tell you.

ginger was so weight drained, that if Floyd had any pop in those fists, Nelo would have visited the canvas for sure

the only time ginger was rocked and close to getting dropped, was against Cotto's fat brother, and ginger was weight drained in that fight too. He moved up to SMW right after that match for a reason

Floydette was smart, he showed us another formula for winning here: fight dangerous opponents before they reach their full potential, instead of fighting them past prime, do it BEFORE they reach their prime. kudos if you can also weight drain them for good measure.
