Jacobs fought like Canelo did in the first Golovkin fight

Constantly on the move, only fighting in spurts, hardly throwing punches, being inactive, getting the jab pushed in your face. Getting walked down. Looking for the occasional counter....
Just like Jacobs Canelo only won 4/5 rounds in that fight.

Damn Canelo fans can be so hypocritical at times.

GGG landed more jabs then Canelo in the first fight every other stat canelo landed more including power shots and at higher connect rates.

Canelo landed more of everything and doubled the connect rate of Jacobs. This fight wasn't that close where as canelo/GGG was. The key in GGG fight was canelo boxing making him miss while landing more power shots more body shots and landing more clean. Jacobs did none of that against Canelo.

    Compubox

    Canelo
    Total shots
    188 of 466 (40%)

    Jabs
    68 of 202 (34%)

    Power shots
    120 of 264 (46%)

    Jacobs
    Total shots
    131 of 649 (20%)

    Jabs
    42 of 290 (15%)

    Power shots
    89 of 359 (25%)

Stop spamming compubox numbers please. You do it everywhere. We as fans can see who is being outlanded. We don't need compubox

So then don't compare a fight where Jacobs couldn't land anything to canelo landing almost 50 percent of his power shots in GGG and dominated the body shots and clean punches none of which Jacobs did. You GGG fans losing your mind because boy got beat up Mexican Style and now Canelo easily beat a guy GGG struggled and probably didn't even deserve to beat.

It is interesting to see when some guys use compubox and then say it's inaccurate other times.

Jacobs fought like a guy who fought somebody with better accuracy and better defense. He's not bad, Canelo was just better.

Honestly Jacobs won 4 rounds Canelo in the first Ggg i thought lost 7 to 5 but he made it debatable if should have been 6 to 6 Canelo was outlanding Ggg in body and powershots While Jacobs didn't out land Canelo on anything.
An im not going on compubox numbers im just baseing things off what i seen last night.

My eyes tell me Canelo didn't outland GGG in anything. Every punch count out there shows that as well

Your eyes are shyt. Fact canelo landed 50 body shots to GGG'S 8. OUTLANDED GGG in power shots and every punch except jabs and landed at higher connect rates. GGG was missing and couldn't land anything clean or consistent but jabs. Everything else canelo did better. Meanwhile Jacobs did nothing better then Canelo. You GGG fans are funny though lol

Agreed. Canelo mustly retreated and fought in spurts against GGG in the first fight and lost 8 rounds to 4 by my score. Jacobs fought Canelo the same way and lost 8 or 9 rounds.
