This is what Redd Foxx meant about casuals having their moment when looking at Canelo's shoes move in the ring when referring to the sweet science!

People praising DJ, if he won, wouldn't be **** riding casuals. They would be 10000000 % true fight fans.Comment

You seriously still don't get it? Why would I edit it when it's exactly what I meant to say and I even explained to you it was about d*ickriders? You really didn't understand how that applies to d*ckriders? It was so simple that I'm struggling to see how you couldn't.
Maybe it's because you think it applies to everyone, even though I already explained it doesn't.
You were 10x more clever when you were Elroy and you actually said some funny stuff. IDK what happened but it's like you became someone who trolls 24/7 without any real point.Comment

Shame DJ didn't win. I would have loved to have seen the title of this thread then. What would your post be (not really a question).Comment

Before the tainted beef drama, Canelo was already hated. There is a lot to like about Canelo. A lot. But he isn't the fighter that every salty ass boxing fan has been craving for. He ticks a lot of the boxes, but there are also undeniable things missing.
Salty ass boxing fans don't like the stain of PEDs, they don't like the stink of corrupt decisions, and they don't like messing around with catch-weights. They never liked them - this isn't something new that people are pretending bothers them just to get cheap shots at Canelo.
I lay a lot of the blame at the feet of ODLH. Since he and Canelo joined forces, it has seemed that for everything that Canelo does that is really respectable, there is something else that is less respectable. Two steps forward and one back.
Still, he is here to stay, and there are worse people to be the public face of boxing.
Sorry, PED's is not a good enough excuse. It doesn't explain the pre-PED allegations hate.Comment

Not really an attack on you but as one of the few who stood up for Canelo when he was hated by almost the entire forum (for not fighting GG), it's clear to me that most hopped on his d*ck when he came up with a win against GG. When I was posting about his advanced technique and gameplanning, these guys were calling him "ducknello" and laughing about how GG would destroy him.
Do people here forget how hated Canelo was? All the posts about how even Mexicans were clowning him? Where did all these hardcore fans come from? Where were they 2 years ago when there was just a few of us standing up for him?
They're no different than the people who hopped on Floyd's balls. ****riders are always the same. I saw the EXACT same shyt with Ward. I was one of like 3 guys that defended him when he went inactive and everyone mocked him. Then, there's this flood of support after he became P4P#1.Last edited by Redd Foxx; 05-06-2019, 03:53 AM.Comment

That's only one of the legitimate factors I mentioned.
Before the PEDs there were also the other two legitimate factors in play.
Not that I am saying all of the hate aimed at Canelo are because of the legitimate factors I mentioned. There is plenty of unjustified, irrational hate aimed at any boxer who reaches the upper levels, and he gets his share.
I am just saying he isn't the answer to every boxing fan's prayers.Comment
