Lol landing nothing but jabs, and an occasionally power punch, than looking at Canelo’s face and ggg you really know who inflicted more punishment of the two, and seen how ggg flinch every time Canelo punish his sides.
Regarding the playing safe reference, well Jacobs at least threw a few combinations compared to triple jab, jabbing 3 minutes of every round. GGG played safer than Jacobs.

Could Canelo have played it safe? He could have opened up more, and didn't. Brian Kenney made it sound (or was told to sell it) like he was putting on a boxing clinic. I thought Canelo didn't have to be so cautious. He almost blew it. He deserved the victory but he was also lucky that those early nothing happening rounds went to him. He's guarenteed 6 rds every fight no matter what. Nobody can thrash him in any round because he has great defense and a rock chin therefore the best that someone can do is win a round by outlanding him dramatically otherwise anything close goes to Canelo.

Jacobs would fare better in 15 round fights, but as it is he leaves it far too late and you can't blame Camelot - it takes two to make a great fight.
