Probably since he got with Golden Boy and they really started to push him. In his earlier big fights, you can see a marked decline in his workrate and stamina, etc. Like he was on the gear heavy against lesser opponents, but must have been weened off in the bigger fights, and his performances suffered. Now though he is going full throttle, juiced out of his mind.
