I don’t see anyone beating Canelo for awhile

He’s a skilled fighter but no matter who he faces, as long as the fight goes the distance and is close enough he’ll always get the decision. He doesn’t have to worry about going for the KO. Nobody right now can beat him, including GGG IMO.

I mean... he pretty much lost the first GGG - Canelo fight, if we're being realistic, here.

The only people contesting that result are the typical, anti-GGG/white/european trolls here. Or the ****riding Canelo fans.

No, I don't think GGG would win in a 3rd fight, but he's 37 and already past his best. Jacobs disappointed me that he didn't go for broke.

Jermall is a good fighter, but I don't think he can pull it off. Andrade? Definitely not.

Andrade has a shot. His style could be very difficult for Canelo.

Canelo wins all fights that go the distance because...he wins the fights.

        Canelo beat Danny 8-4

Canelo beat GGG in rematch 7-5

Canelo earned a draw in first GGG fight

Canelo beat Cotto same as Jacobs...close but clear

        Canelo beat Trout with KD

Canelo either drew or beat Lara 7-5

There were shady cards in those fights, but if you ignore any cards and score the fights yourself...Canelo is where he is because he can fight.

Danny can say w/e he wants, but he won 4 rounds and 5 if you absolutely love Danny's style (of missing punches while getting jabbed in the face by a shorter fighter - height and reach).

Theres a reason Danny and Cotto became mobile fighters. Just like Lara did.

Theres a reason Danny blew the rehydration clause and STILL fought like the smaller fighter

I pretty much just said this in another thread. Again, I thought the first GGG fight could have gone either way and I thought Golovkin clearly won the 2nd fight. However, I don't think GGG can beat him with the directions these 2 are heading now and I don't think Andrade can make it 12 without getting cracked, although I do think he'd have success in that fight. I think it will take Canelo getting old or moving to 168 until we see him lose again

Only GG has a shot to beat him.

Current MW ***in sucks id say. Not one natural MW is capable of beating Canelo? Smh.

            Today’s Boxing fkin sucks overall.

They have got the judging polished now. They messed up with the GGG first fight with the wild scorecards.

Now they just need to score these very close fights by a round or two to Canelo. That way you can't say it's really a bad decision, but the fact is the decision will NEVER go the other way. That never has to be a talking point because they score it close enough to get away with it and it makes it seem honest.

Gennady Golovkin won the first fight by a couple of rounds. The second fight I didn't have a problem with the scoring, could see a draw or a close decision for Saul Alvarez. Theoretically, the rivalry should stand at 1-1, and a rubber match in order. But I feel that Golovkin is on the slide whilst Canelo is just getting into his stride at the higher weights. Canelo would win the third fight clearly, possibly even by stoppage.
