absolutely. maybe its just one of those things that you don't realize till you get in the ring with him, but fighting canelo, you have to be smart to do whatever you can to bank rounds.you have to keep attacking. with jacobs skills, this should have been at least a draw, or at least a VERY controversial decision. jacobs just made it easy for canelo. and then he had a chance in the last two rounds, and still gave them away.

jacobs team seemed like they came just to not get outlanded. thats very different from stealing rounds, and jacobs team should have known better.

I watched it with the sound off - it makes a friggin difference. I had it a draw too.
Canelo won his rounds cleaner.
I could see 115-113 Canelo.
116-112 smells iffy - you'd have to give all the close rounds to Canelo.

Jacobs missed a few opportunities to increase pressure after he landed some hard shots
Canelo's endurance has improved from the early days, maybe because he is fighting at a more natural weight now
Seemed like Canelo got Danny's respect without ever hurting him. So I can't see Canelo having the power to keep top 175s off of him.

Really surprised two of the judges had it so close. You'd have to give every single close round to Jacobs.

i had a feeling that all the talk about favoritism would get to them in this fight...like they had to show they're not biased towards Canelo. But all they did was show bias anyhow, instead of just staying professional and not worrying about opinions.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence and they honestly felt Jacobs won that many rounds.
