How anyone thinks Jacobs won this is mind-boggling.

He wasn't effective at all and he didn't outwork Canelo.

The only thing you can say is that he didn't get steamrolled and Canelo needed to be careful.

Its Haters.... they dug in on a agenda and will never let go and give credit. You can't win fights missing as badly as Jacobs was all night. If this performance was by anyone not named canelo folks would be screaming great performance but you have a group of haters that just can't remove their bias and hate. Canelo won and clearly. Jacobs didn't want to fight came out trying to outbox canelo and Canelo too fast and slick.

I got it 115-113 canelo but this bored the hell out of me so i don't really care. At least the scores were good

Surprisingly the scores of 2 of the judges were spot on (both 115-113), the 116-112 was too generous for Canelo.
I had it 115-113 for Canelo but could see a draw being fair.
To win the fight Jacobs needed to win at least 7 rounds and there's no way he did, even Jacobs fanboys would admit to that.

Time and time again we see people on here declare a fight crap unless a guy is flat out on his back.

That was a high level fight between two very good boxers.

The promoters and network managed to get a big fight made.

Credit Canelo. He was the better fighter and I thought he looked great. Jacobs was being outclassed but found a way to get competitive and then gave it everything late on.

Judges got it right in my opinion.

That was literally everything currently wrong with boxing being put right.
But people will still find something to complain about.
