I've been looking for improvements in Diaz in the fights following the Russell Jr. loss, but I honestly haven't seen it yet. Still not a consistent enough jab...also been hoping he can be a little more on his toes and not just trying to step and walk in like he does. He can appear to be a technical fighter, sharp fighter against a lot of guys, but against faster footed guy who will also have an active jab, he can looks a little flat. At least he's always looking to go to the body though, so any fight will be competitive. still one of my favorite former prospects, now contender. didn't get the Russell win but there still should be a lot more to come!

I agree. I wish he had more power to deal with people like Davis. He seems somewhat featherfisted or out of his weight class. His skills are a B so far. Good potential.
