Good win for Alvarez. He definitely looks like he's peaking, and he likely just beat his strongest remaining threat in the division. It's definitely the time to bring Saunders over for Mexican Independence Day.

How anyone thinks Jacobs won this is mind-boggling.

He wasn't effective at all and he didn't outwork Canelo.

The only thing you can say is that he didn't get steamrolled and Canelo needed to be careful.

Jacobs needs new coaches and trainers. they were trash in this fight. they didn't seem to have a gameplan, and they didn't read the fight well in my opinion.

You can't beat Canelo going while backpedalling .
