Worse big fight choker: Golota or Vargas?

Striking similarity between Fernando Vargas and Andrew Golota is that both fighters seem to choke under the bright lights a.k.a. they are the worst clutch performers in the history of boxing and these two never had career-defining victories.

Golota: Lewis, Byrd, Brewster, Ruiz (ALL TITLE FIGHTS)
Vargas: Trinidad, Dela Hoya, Mosley(2x) (ALL BY TKO)

Who do you think is worse big fight choker between the two fighters above? Is there any other big-name fighter who is worse in the clutch than these two?

All the fighters that Vargas lost to were just better than him. Golota , I thought was better than Brewster and Ruiz, I'm gonna say Golota.

golota, clearly. vargas stuck around until the 12th, 11th, 10th, and the 6th. so he doesnt really choke right away.

golota has been blasted out in the 1st (twice), quit in the 2nd and 10th, and got the short end of the stick after strong starts on two decisions.

both fighters choke and come up short, but golota does it more often and more humiliatingly.

No way this is even close. First off Vargas tried and did what he could he just came up short. Vargas didn't choke he just got beat by 3 probable HOF's. Vargas showed heart and will to win in both the DLH and Tito fights which he never really recovered from (actually think the Tito fight ruined him). Vargas is not a choker at all.

Now AD really choked because he would've probably beat Bowe if he stopped used Rid****s balls as a speed bag. Goloata had better physical abilities than some of the opponents you mentioned but not the mental fortitude so he is by far the bigger choker.

Vargas was competitive in all his losses. He had a few chances to beat Trinidad and dela Hoya.

              Golota by a mile.

or his crazed rush to the locker room instead of answering the bell against Tyson?

Agreed. All of Golotas big fights he lost and made a fool out of himself or his opponent made a fool outta him, with the exception of his fight with Byrd. No comparrison between the two.
