Good choice. Johnathon Banks is a excellent trainer. He's a little younger than GGG and I think its good to have a guy the same age as you a trainer.

Great choice. He has old school experience under steward. He trained wlad to an undefeated 10 year run.

He hasn’t been proven to be good medium bad or great no body of work yet no fighter he developed or vet he turned around hasn’t been seen much lately. Preaches boxing jab combos IQ D and that KO comes don’t force it. Less offensive than Manny his uncle

Jonathan Banks worked with Klitschko and has experience with that type of style, similar to Lennox Lewis and so on, energy conserving low risk type of style. That particular style imo has nothing to do with GGG but we shall see, hopefully they don't do the mistake of trying to change too much that late in GGG's career and just focus on utilizing his strengths and improving his weakness or avoiding situations where these weaknesses could be exploited. I can't imagine GGG clinching and using the jab and grab and throwing 20 punches a round and if tries it wouldn't end well for him.

I thought he was gonna hire his brother though, the decision still raises a lot of question and I think there are a lot of things we don't know about the story.
