Although i always found it funny that people say Floyd always had judges on his side. He barely had any close fights. The ones he did have, he rightly got the decision because he won. Maybe Castillo 1 is the only truly questionable decision, but that could've gone either way.

It's not even like the judges showed huge favouritism to Floyd in the score cards either. His fight with Maidana, De La Hoya etc. actually had the cards very close.

People seem to just repeat things others say, but if you look at the facts, Floyd never really had gift decisions barring one in a fight that could've gone either way and the scoring of his fights were usually a reflection of the fight.

Just a little 'theater' to sell the last of the tix, that's all. No worries.

Looking forward to this one. Unless there's a bad head butt with damage early on, we should have quite a chess match style rumble here.

I suspect making weight was harder than expected and Jacobs was sharing his misery. The head butt caught Canelo by surprise and he reacted as any hyper competitor would.

Make no mistake, making weight sucks, that's not fake, it's real.

These are two very competitive fighters. Danny will certainly have his moments but weight was on Oscars mind from the start and rightfully so. Oscar is counting on the weight drain to make the difference and he might be right.

I hope I'm wrong but that's the way I see it.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Danny is my guy but Andrade is the more problematic of the two for Canelo.

on yearly basis 4 fights vs 3 opponents. GGG, Lara, Trout. Lara and GGG 1 being the only
really debatable fights.Trout was was close but the difference in a close fight was Lara got knocked down. Lara just ran . In GGG 1 GGG missed so many punches and it appeared he was dominating. So if you think Canelo ran vs GGG you can not think Lara won. Online self haters hating on Canelo

not really accurate. First he had the trout fight in which a judge gave him 10 rounds, then vs mayweather a judge gave him a draw, then vs Lara a judge gave him 9 rounds, then vs Cotto a judge gave him 11 rounds, then vs ggg he was given 10 rounds. Those are 5 of the worst scorecards you'll see given to any single fighter ever in boxing. I can't think of anyone else who has had 5 scorecards as ridiculous as those. So the point is, being fearful of bad scoring in Canelos favor is valid. As far as the comparison between how Lara fought vs Canelo and how Canelo fight vs ggg, you're leaving out 1 important detail. They both outworked and out landed Canelo regardless of what style was used. So not an accurate comparison.

I am legitimately excited for this fight. A summit meeting between two middleweight champions in their primes. If Jacobs can perform as well as he did against GGG I think he outboxes Canelo but loses on the cards anyway. Jacobs may be able to pull a draw but I don't see Canelo losing if it goes to the cards. With that being said; I am rooting for Jacobs to get the win.

Canelo pushed first, did the same with ggg and he lost, but daddy Oscar saved him again

I see this turning into an all out fight, not much boxing. Advantage Canelo, with the body shots.
