You never mentioned he was getting more than 35 mil. That’s my entire point. You point out Jacobs was making more than his listed 2.5 mil and didn’t once mention Canelo was making more than his listed 35 mil.

I've posted repeatedly, that all top stars, from all promoters, file bogus purses.

ESPN reported that Jacobs filed for less than 25% of his true purse, which proves my argument far more than Canelo's filed purse does, hence me focusing on Jacobs' purse.

Because Canelo's DAZN deal of $35 million guaranteed per fight is such readily available public information, it's much tougher for Canelo to file a smaller percentage of his true purse. Yes, he made more than 35 because he's got money coming in from Mexico and other countries, but if his true take was 50 million for instance, he couldn't file for 15 million like he might have wanted to, because the DAZN money is public and harder to hide.
