and how long you been watching boxing you say? Long time? You never seen a fighter knocked down by a jab or even stopped with a jab?

So a jab that backs you up or knocks you down is the same as a range-finding jab?

Your trying to use semantics to justify your bias. Im on to you boy. No matter how much mental contortionism you do,the fact remains mr supposed Mexican style who called for a mexican style standoff turned into a "african american brotha style" when he was getting battered by reds clean accurate power shots to face/neck & tumtum.

Canelo was getting full extension swings in all fight,ggg almost NEVER threw anything of the sort,just weak arm punch jabs. Even abel sanchez was telling him in between rds:"don't bother throwing combos,just keep using the jab in 1 or 2 punches at a time, your not gonna be able to beat him to the punch, just jab" Ggg whos staple has ALWAYS been extremely high accuracy & power shots/body shots,was reduced to backing up 75% of the rematch & 6 body shots to canelos 46. I challenge you to find footage anywhere in the entire rematch where ggg landed a 3 punch combo without being viciously countered.

Canelo landed every punch in his arsenal at will in both fights,ggg landed headjabs at will in both fights. What a coincidence thats the 1st time ggg didn't stay in center of ring AT ALL,Nelo bossed center of ring 90% of fight.


Anyone acting like ggg should get the benefit of yabs being counted as power shots is as hypocritical as any fan in history,esp. if crying about biased refs

yes!!a yab is a yab. If it wasn't it'd be a left hook,or a uppercut. A YAB is by definition the weakest punch in Boxing even in a supposed monster like gggs arsenal.

The media's job is to report what they saw at the fight. Yeah they do know body work and defense most of those guys have been reporting on fights for a very long time.
