Comments Thread For: Beterbiev: It's A Big Relief To Finally Move On With My Career

A quick glance at the ring rsum of Artur Beterbiev will immediately draw attention to his 13 knockouts in as many pro fights. Just as glaring, unfortunately, is the spacing between those moments. "It's been difficult for me, because I just want to concentrate on fighting (in the ring), not in (court)," Beterbiev (13-0, 13KOs) admitted to BoxingScene.com of his lack of activity in recent years. "That's all behind me now, it's a big relief to be with Top Rank and to finally just move on with my career."

Pretty sure dazn offered him a fight quickly after the Johnson one but he started crying about it and eventually went to top rank so to hear him say he wants to be more active is surprising

Too late maybe? We’ll see how he looks against Hot Rod but I think it may be the beginning of the end of his career. If we wins and looks good doing it perhaps he can salvage something from the wreckage.

Yeah that’s true but he is also lacking the experience top fighters his age usually have. Good luck to him but last time out he looked like a crude slugger.

It'll be a waste of a career if he doesn't do anything significant in the division.
