I'm not sure what Eddie's real feelings are about this, but I suspect he isn't as "gutted" as he's trying to make out.

One thing for sure though .. DAZN most definitely did want the fight to happen this year. Skipper wasn't playing games with those incredible offers he made to Wilder.

So this may have worked out perfectly for Eddie. He gets what he REALLY wanted, with no fall out from his "bosses" because he didn't give them what they wanted.

I think DAZN definitely wants it now. With Eddie for me it’s so and so, why? Because he is all about the money, and if the fight marinates and Wilder builds his profile then him and Joshua stands to make a killing on showtime PPV. The only question is would whatever they make going to be much more than what DAZN is willing to offer them now!

And only wilder fans fixate on the 50 mil offer like it was the be all and end all. The offer was rejected and countered. Not rejected and then aj walked away like wilder did from the dazn deal. What is it about ongoing negotiations you guys don’t understand? Weather the money was there or not is redundant as negotiations moved past that point.

Nah, Joshua just has to wait until next year, like he did Wilder with "Wembley 04/13" lol. I'm not fixated on it, more than I am fascinated by how Wilder can't get away with doing what Joshua did, to only certain fans. Over a month ago I called out Wilder and admitted that he should have taken the $120M deal, because it's a Mayweather level contract that most boxers would die for. Joshua fans can't admit that he turned down a blockbuster though. I criticize people from both sides of the pond, because I'm more interested in fights rather than what fighters get paid.

... the actual "fight" is between Al Haymon and Hearn (their media platforms included)... therefore the "fighters" don't mean shit in this fight... (and the same goes for the "fans")...

I definitely agree with that. All of these holdups are coming from the top. There should be fewer bosses in boxing.

I remember it was about Canelo I thought that was the end of him but 2 days later he was still posting on the same name. These Wilder fans have thick skins. Don’t get me wrong not all of them are bad. 1 or 2 of them can co-exist with society given the right conditions and opportunity. Ok maybe 3or 4 of them

It’s beginning to feel like no one cares about AJ vs Wilder. That’s not good for the heavyweights. Especially when everything was blue hot 6 months ago.

I like to think I’m a realist. Joshua turned down 50m true but he’s pretty much recouped that from the povetkin and Ruiz fights. How long will it take wilder to make 120m based on his current purses?

Also, are you fascinated with those who have aj **** for “turning down” 50m yet openly applaud wilder for turning down 120m?
