Only Joshua fans keep pretending that Hearn himself didn't only say the money was legitimate, but also said that they were willing to make less because Joshua wanted the fight in the UK "for the fans". Whenever I post the link, that results in someone talking about contractual disputes and other excuses. When I bring up that Mayweather-McGregor and Mayweather-Pacquiao was made despite glaringly obvious contractual problems, then I get called names.

Works out well for Eddie in terms of limiting risk for the short term, but equally the sooner that WBC belt is wrapped up in his grasp the sooner there is no problem with getting AJ the monster paydays he wants.
Deyonce and Haymon are still proving to be a pain in the ass for Hearn and AJs American ambitions.
He's going to be frustrated for as long as he hasn't completely cornered the heavyweight market.
Once/if he corners it then Matchroom USA will run the game and keep everything in house.
It's a question of how long PBC and the WBC can keep this nonsense going. Until AJ or Deyonce loses I'm guessing.Comment

If considering Wilders value in the event of a loss, his problem will be that without a belt, I can't see anyone wanting to get in the ring with him because he will continue to have that game-ending power. Everyone will be jockeying for their position in line for the belt-holders, and Wilder will be a risk to that - eg can imagine Whyte suddenly not being interested in Wilder.
So Wilder's camp will have to pay handsomely for someone to risk their position in line with him, all at a time that his fights will likely generate less without the belt (and a loss on his record).
Joshua might revert back to 80-20 offers, Fury might move on to the then belt holder (or Joshua). Wilder might be left in no-mans land.
He needs to make sure he has those rematch clauses just in case.Comment

Wow. Bury your head in the sand and blame it on the side who have offered the fight to wilder 9 times. This is maybe THE MOST BLATENT DUCK in the sports history. The fighter said he don't want it and he don't care about the belts, his manager has come out and said it too. You can't deny it.
But these wilder nut huggers still try to blame the other side. You pbc goons deny it all you want, to literally everybody else it's a nailed on duck. It couldn't be more clear.Comment

No Hearn ducked!! Wilder is year to fight , though god willing he wins this month then he has stated he may rematch Ortiz or Kownacki and fight AJ next year. He has moved on from the lacklustre idea of becoming undisputed and revelled in the idea of beating Ortiz again or the undeafeated fat pole......let’s move onComment

... the actual "fight" is between Al Haymon and Hearn (their media platforms included)... therefore the "fighters" don't mean shit in this fight... (and the same goes for the "fans")...Only Joshua fans keep pretending that Hearn himself didn't only say the money was legitimate, but also said that they were willing to make less because Joshua wanted the fight in the UK "for the fans". And only wilder fans fixate on the 50 mil offer like it was the be all and end all. The offer was rejected and countered. Not rejected and then aj walked away like wilder did from the dazn deal. What is it about ongoing negotiations you guys don’t understand? Weather the money was there or not is redundant as negotiations moved past that point.Only Joshua fans keep pretending that Hearn himself didn't only say the money was legitimate, but also said that they were willing to make less because Joshua wanted the fight in the UK "for the fans".
