Another 'hard luck - rags to potential riches' backstory to try and give the fighting public some emotion to hold on to.

Never heard of this guy, and my gut says he is just more fodder for the wrecking ball. The only thing that got my attention was the SD loss to Marcus Browne, who is currently one of the best contenders in the division.

I really just want to see all this talent face off...but gees do they make us wait an age for a decent fight.

If Beterbiev wins this would be his best win..this is not an easy fight for Beterbiev and I can easily see an upset. The first 4 rounds will be interesting..it's a shame it's on the same night as Can vs Jacob's.

I'm curious if he's essentially the same fighter as before the injury and layoff. For those that didn't see the Marcus Browne fight, split decision loss doesn't really explain it. Hot Rod whooped his a$$. As I recall, he slipped and the ref scrored it a KD and then he hurt and dropped Browne and the ref scored it a slip. Even with that BS, I still had Rod winning it.

My fear is that Kalajdzic isn't the same fighter physically or mentally as he was before the injury; if he still has it I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Beterbiev whom I feel is a bit overrated. I just remember him chasing Enrico Kolling around the ring looking very limited and I remember him getting dropped by Callum Johnson.
