Right now Loma would absolutely take the kid to pieces. All the comments on here that Timo will KO Loma etc are nonsense. I know a lot of people on here don’t actually understand boxing but give me a break, you have a guy with Loma’s background, possibly the best technical boxer you will see in your lifetime, suddenly an underdog to a kid that actually got caught a few times his last fight against a nobody. Get some perspective guys it’s ridiculous.

Always surprised by the hate Lomachenko receives on these threads. Really don't get it. We have a boxer fighting at the moment who will be talked about for years as one of the best to put on a pair of gloves and people talk s**t about him because, I presume, he's not American? What a screwed up mentality you guys have. We're supposed to be on here because we're fight fans, not American fighter fans. People are talking Lopez up as if he's on the same level as Lomachenko...he's not. That's not saying he's not a good fighter, he is and I'm a fan of his in-ring style, but seriously?? I have to assume people just post ridiculous comments on here to annoy others, otherwise it's a sad day for boxing when its "fans" see the likes of Lopez as a challenge for the likes of Lomachenko at this stage of his career

Lomachenko fought for his countries pride and there isnt anything wrong with that. It was his father who didnt want him to go pro after his first Olympics.

He was raised to believe that Olympic medals held more value than prize fighting title belts. I mean, hes from Ukraine. Things are different over there. Let's not create a false narrative that doesnt exist.

That's how it happened, I remember speculating after his first Olympics if he would turn pro but he reported his father advised him to go for the second olympic gold.

He clearly idolises his father what with that big tat of him on his stomach (he should have got a better artist to do that one though, its not the best).

Interestingly, at Teo's age, Loma had already scored 1 olympic gold and had just won gold in the world championships scoring a record for least points against. Now add 10 years experience to that - Teo would be going into deep water.

Teo also referrenced some camp problems pre Tatli, also weight issues in making 135. He would need to sort those issues out first. And no idea how getting married after the Tatli fight affects him, hopefully he didn't go 12 with the buffet.

Funny, wasn't Loma just insulting Floyd Mayweather and Tank Davis not long ago? I believe he called them "Twitter Champions" or something in that vein? If Loma thinks Lopez is using his name, then he is doing the same thing by using Tank (and Mayweather's) name!
